Cuz's Uptown Barbeque is housed in a 1950 dairy barn on a 3000 acre family farm on US Rt 460 in Tazewell County, also known as Trail of the Lonesome Pine. The restaurant is set against the backdrop of Deskin Mountain, part of the Appalachian mountain chain. Still a working farm today, a window seat will provide you with a view of cattle grazing on the bluegrass in the meadows. 

The young chefs at the restaurant plant and harvest from their gardens peas, squash, tomatoes, asparagus, artichokes, carrots, sweet corn and pumpkins. Sunflowers and zinnias are planted in the many flower beds around the restaurant and  near the pool and cabins.
